About Delete PDF Pages

Most PDFs that need pages removed have picked up something that was never meant to travel with them: a fax cover sheet, a blank verso from a duplex scan, an internal pricing page before the document goes to a client, or the terms appendix nobody needs.

Load the file, look at the page thumbnails, click the ones that should go, and download what is left. The pages you keep are copied across untouched, so quality, text selectability and any embedded fonts are unaffected.

Deletion here is genuinely deletion. The removed pages are not hidden or marked invisible, they are absent from the output file, so there is no way to recover them from the document you download. That is the behaviour you want when the reason for removing a page is that it should not be seen.

Your original file stays where it is. The tool builds a new PDF rather than editing in place, so if you remove the wrong page you can simply start again.

How to delete pdf pages

  1. Open the document

Drop your PDF in. Every page renders locally as a thumbnail.

  2. Select what to remove

Click the pages you want gone. Click again to keep one you changed your mind about.

  3. Download the trimmed file

The remaining pages are written to a new PDF and saved to your device.

Frequently asked questions

Are the deleted pages really gone?

Yes. The output contains only the pages you kept, so the removed content is not present in the file at all. This differs from hiding pages or drawing over them, which leaves the data recoverable.

Does the file get smaller?

Usually, though not in proportion to the pages removed. Fonts and other shared resources stay in the file even if only one page used them. Running Optimize PDF afterwards clears out what is no longer referenced.

Can I remove pages from a scanned document?

Yes. Scanned pages are images inside the PDF and are removed the same way as any other page.

Is there a page limit?

No. The document is processed in your browser's memory, so length is bounded by your own hardware rather than by a plan.
